Saturday, February 27th Black History Month Symposium, the GSGEDM Producers partnered up with  MEMCO and MusicOrigins.org to introduce Detroit Techno 101: an educational curriculum sharing history, culture, and experiences surrounding techno and Detroit, in tandem with the upcoming feature-length documentary, God Said Give ‘Em Drum Machines: The Story of Detroit Techno.

In this sneak peek Zoom discussion, we’ll be exploring some significant techno-related locations throughout Detroit, from radio stations and labels to record stores. Tell us which locations YOU want to know more about – and we’ll do our best to discuss that location’s role in the evolution of Detroit Techno!
